About 45 students in Penn College’s School of Industrial, Computing & Engineering Technologies employed their skills to “spooky” effect during the fifth annual Virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest. The competition required the engineering design students to use software to create virtual jack-o’-lanterns.

The Financial Aid Office at Pennsylvania College of Technology is aiding college students, prospective students and families in completing the 2019-20 Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The college is hosting free FAFSA completion sessions on its main campus for staff to assist with the online application.
The legendary Art Garfunkel, among the Community Arts Center's opening acts in 1993, is returning to headline the venue's 25th Anniversary season. The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. March 13. Hailed by The New York Times as a “beautiful countertenor,” Garfunkel has made an indelible mark on the music world as both a solo artist and half of Simon and Garfunkel.
Pennsylvania College of Technology will feature battles of ingenuity later this month when it hosts SWORD Fall Fights 2018. Approximately 50 combat robots will “fight” in the double-elimination tournament that is open to the public. Trophies and gift certificates will be awarded to the top three finishers in the 1- and 3-pound weight classes.
