Pennsylvania College of Technology will potentially send more than 900 new employees into the job market this month, and the new graduates are poised for success with their workforce-ready skills and specialties. “Demand for Penn College graduates remains high,” said Paul L. Chalmer Van Horn, a retired faculty member who taught engineering drafting for nearly three decades at Pennsylvania College of Technology and its two predecessor institutions, has endowed two scholarships at the college, including one that honors the memory of his wife of 56 years, Ruth Ann.

This summer, Pennsylvania College of Technology will offer a four-week Youth Training for Athletic Development program. Taught by members of the college’s physical fitness specialist faculty, the program will emphasize sport-specific training, fundamentals of proper technique, injury prevention and nutrition education, as well as functional and resistance training.
