The second annual Rotorfest, hosted Tuesday by Pennsylvania College of Technology’s emergency management & homeland security major, is in the spotlight with a WNEP-TV report. The ABC affiliate’s multi-skilled journalist Mackenzie Aucker interviewed instructor William A. Schlosser and student Christina L. Smith for the story. Smith, of Lock Haven, served as the public information officer during the event.

Rotorfest was staged from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the front lawns and nearby parking lots of the college’s main campus. The interactive career day brought together emergency response employers, Penn College community members and nearly 500 students from 23 K-12 schools and career and technology centers from across the state. Many of the secondary students are enrolled in Penn College Dual Enrollment, receiving college-level classes and free college credits.
