On the Podcast

Likened to "a campfire conversation among friends," the latest episode of Penn College's Tomorrow Makers podcast gamely explores the creative process in all of its glorious manifestations: from art and poetry to design, music and storytelling.

Industrial design professor Thomas E. Ask and one of his students – Nick A. Flores, of Alexandria, Virginia – talk with co-hosts Sumer Beatty and Carlos Ramos about making something from nothing, individually and collaboratively, and dare to confront the elephant in the room: the hydra-headed curiosity that is artificial intelligence in academia.

"What makes AI so special?" asks Ask, who also lends his expertise as adviser to several student organizations. "Is it going to overtake humans and all that stuff?"
