Multifaceted alumnus shares 'How it's made'

    Dylan C. Godinez, a May graduate in engineering design technology, recently shared a five-minute video that he taped and edited as part of his responsibilities at The Garage Shop. "This is one of my current projects at the shop involving 3D scanning and SolidWorks weldments for a Land Speed Corvette," he said in an email to program faculty, providing the link embedded below. "Feel free to use it as an example during a weldments section if anyone has any questions or wants to see how it is incorporated into real-world projects." A design engineer at the North Carolina-based enterprise, Godinez is also included – appropriately enough! – on the college's Meet the makers page.
