Members of the student group handed out programs and ushered for the performance, which featured a selection of "American Spirituals." The community chorus was joined by Anthony T. Leach and the Essence of Joy Alumni Singers from Penn State. WCC member Deb A. Buckman, an assistant professor of chemistry/environmental science, helped coordinate the partnership with Campus & Community Engagement; other Penn College employees in the chorus are Barbara J. Albert, director of the Dunham Children's Learning Center, and Eric K. Albert, associate professor of machine tool technology/automated manufacturing.
