The event featured Alan Lightman, renowned physicist and author (“Einstein’s Dreams”) and professor of the practice of the humanities at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, addressing the subject of applied technology in higher education. The college’s Salon Dinner Series provides a chance for educators, parents, companies, nonprofits, media and others to come together in an intimate, exclusive setting to discuss a wide range of meaningful, hot-button topics concerning the state of job prospects for today’s youth.
