"The Rock" dons a new coat for commencement.Readily recalling his stint as a billboard painter, Todd R. Moore returns to his campus roots.Members of the Centennial graduating class and their families have an appropriate backdrop for their keepsake photos this commencement weekend. Penn College's Centennial logo has been painted on "The Rock," just in time for those memory-making moments with graduation VIPs. The logo was hand-painted by Todd R. Moore, a 1986 advertising art alumnus and creative director for Lamar Outdoor. The "canvas" was prepped late last week by his wife, Shelley L., assistant director of career services; Sara H. Ousby, associate director of student activities for diversity and cultural life; and Allison Bressler, assistant director of student activities for programming and Greek life. Also featured on the campus landmark is the official #PCTGrad hashtag to accompany celebratory Instagram, Twitter and Facebook posts.
