Penn College went on a run of its own and soon trailed by only three, before Lock Haven seized momentum and went ahead, 38-29, at halftime. The second half started the same way: LHU couldn’t miss and and soon held a 20-point lead. Penn College wasn’t about to give up and crucial 3-pointers by Nathaniel Brown and Mike Cliggett helped cut the lead to 10 with 10 minutes remaining. Unfortunately, further 3-point attempts wouldn’t fall for Penn College as they did for LHU, which went on to win, 77-60. Brown was the college’s leading scorer with 18 points. James Boylan added 16, Rob Beckett and Mike Cliggett chipped in seven each, Jerome Edwards and Nate Jeffries added five points apiece, and Rich DeJesus tallied two.
