EarthSmart Conducts Highway Cleanup

    EarthSmart, the Penn College environment and biology club, conducted its semiannual highway cleanup Tuesday in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. "It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon out on Northway Road Extension," co-adviser David L. Evans said. "The club and its advisers did a wonderful job, and later celebrated with some pizza and soft drinks." Members of the college community are invited to join EarthSmart in more fun outdoor activities.
