Dinner Pays Tribute to Retiring General Manager

    Hellerman and alumni coworkers Apple strudel prep Salad plating Frederic Frank The School of Hospitality hosted "A Farewell Tribute to Peter Hellermann," longtime general manager of the school-operated Le Jeune Chef Restaurant, on Monday. The dinner featured visiting vintner Frederic Frank, of Dr. Konstantin Frank Vinifera Wine Cellars on New York's Keuka Lake. In honor of Hellermann's service to the college, proceeds from the dinner will be used to award annual scholarships in his name to School of Hospitality students. Faculty from the School of Hospitality created a menu of dishes inspired by Hellermann and led students in producing the elegant meal.
