College Team Finishes Second in Heavy Equipment Rodeo

    A contestant deftly picks up an egg during this year's Heavy Equipment Rodeo at ESC Penn College placed second among six teams in last month's Heavy Equipment Rodeo at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center. The traditional event, at which students perform a number of maneuvers testing their skill on a variety of construction equipment, was won by Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology, Pleasant Gap. Cayuga Onondaga BOCES, Olean, N.Y., placed third; and We-Mo-Co Vocational/Technical Center in Spencerport, N.Y., was fourth. The other two teams were from Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES in Olean and WSWHE BOCES, Southern Adirondacks,in Hudson Falls, N.Y.
