North Campus to Offer Beginner Computer Course for Senior Citizens

Adults, 55 and older, who want to learn more about using computers for fun and convenience may enroll in a noncredit course being offered in May at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro.

This easy beginners' class, which is offered through Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Penn College, introduces the computer for enjoyment purposes. The class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on May 16 and May 23.

Instructor John Delaney will lead participants through entertaining games, e-mailing friends and family, surfing the Internet, buying and selling merchandise on e-Bay, basic word processing for letter writing, and other enjoyable and practical applications.

The North Campus is located on Route 6 between Wellsboro and Mansfield. Convenient, street-level parking is available at the rear of the building.
