Business Professor's Paper on Online Education Receives Tribute

A research paper written by a Pennsylvania College of Technology business professor has been designated an "Award-Winning Conference Paper" and will be published in "Selected Papers from the 13th International Conference on College Teaching and Learning."

"Debunking the Myths of Online Education," written by Dr. Gerald D. "Chip" Baumgardner, associate professor of business administration in the School of Business and Computer Technologies at Penn College, has been selected from among hundreds of submissions to the conference, which will take place April 9-13 in Jacksonville, Fla.

In addition, Baumgardner has been nominated for an "Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning & Technology."

The conference is expected to feature 300 or more presentations to 1,000 faculty attendees representing all academic fields.
