Job Fair for HON Workers to Be Held at Penn College Field House

A job fair designed specifically to place former workers of the HON Co.'s Williamsport facility in new jobs will be held Friday, July 20, at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
The fair, which is being hosted by the HON Co. in conjunction with the Rapid Response Coordination Services unit of the Pennsylvania Workforce Investment Board and the Lycoming County CareerLink, will be held at the Penn College Field House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Field House is situated behind the HON facility, which is located at 1201 W. Third St.
Employers participating in the job fair may tour the plant, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The HON Co. is closing the Williamsport facility and already has offered a variety of job-search, career-counseling and skills-assessment services to its workers. Current and former employees of the company are welcome to attend the job fair to meet with prospective employers.
The current and former workers of the Williamsport facility possess a variety of skills in the management, production, engineering, business-professional and maintenance categories, HON Co. officials say.
