Works created by students in ceramics courses at Pennsylvania College of Technology will be on display April 17-28 at the College's 202 Gallery.

The exhibit, entitled "Earth & Fire: Forms 2001," includes pieces crafted by students in various academic majors.

Students in the beginning and advanced ceramics courses will exhibit works created by hand-building (slab, coil and extruded clay) and wheel-thrown techniques. Stoneware and porcelain forms, as well as raku pots, also will be part of the exhibit.

Faculty sponsor for the show is Max E. Ameigh, instructor of advertising art at Penn College.

An opening reception will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, at the gallery, located at the south end of the second floor of the Alvin C. Bush Campus Center.

Gallery hours for the exhibit will be 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Appointments can be scheduled for viewing at other times. Call 326-3761, ext. 7491, for an appointment.
