Nathan owns Davis Diesel, a marine diesel repair company in eastern North Carolina. He earned a bachelor's in diesel technology from Montana State University. He has since worked for Wartsila Corp. and Gregory Poole CAT Dealer and opened Davis Diesel in 2012. He has two locations and nine employees. He resides in Leland, N.C., where he has been married for 18 years and has three children.

Charles

Charles Stankye, 2016

residential construction technology and management

Charles is a builder second class petty officer for the U.S. Navy Seabees (construction battalion). He is a lead project safety supervisor while on a seven-month deployment in Rota, Spain. Every morning, he is responsible for giving a safety lecture and certifying scaffold, ladders and eye wash stations. He received his second Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal, second Navy Sea Service Ribbon Bronze Star and the Outstanding Volunteer Service medal. In September 2023, he plans to reenlist for an additional four years. In March 2024 he will transfer to Marine Corps Base Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. He resides in Derby, Conn.
