Let's get started.

Here are a few things you can do to help with the decision-making process.

Tap into your interests.

You've probably heard the Mark Twain quote, "Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life." He was right. Think about your hobbies and what makes you happy. This will often lead you to excellent career pathways.

Consider a career assessment inventory.

The Career Services team at Penn College has lots of experience helping students like you find a match that aligns with their passions, abilities, and work values. Schedule your appointment and we'll walk through your options together.

Make a plan.

Sometimes the most difficult part of the process is making the decision to make the decision. For many people, trying out a few courses is the best way to confirm they've made the right choice. You'll probably love where you land. If not, there are lots of other majors to consider.

More resources for your journey.

Your school counselor is a valuable partner to consult in this process. Also take advantage of opportunities to job shadow professionals in the areas you are considering. Below are two additional tools to check out.
