Billie A. Coffman, associate professor of early childhood education at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will be honored in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers." Coffman's biography will appear in the 10th edition of the book, to be published later this year. Teachers who are honored in the book have been nominated by a former student.
Sherry L. Heckman, a May 2005 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, was one of three people nationwide honored as Outstanding Human Service Students during the National Organization for Human Services annual conference in New Jersey. Heckman, of Muncy, graduated with honors from Penn College, earning a bachelor's degree in applied human services.
The Gallery at Penn College on the main campus of Pennsylvania College of Technology will host "Bearing Water: Prints and Drawings," a collection by Rosemarie Bernardi, from April 4-28. An opening reception will take place from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, with an artist's talk at 4 p.m.

A Pennsylvania College of Technology student reported being swindled overnight by a black male in his late 30s at an off-campus apartment. This is the seventh known occurrence by the same or a similar suspect. The incidents are being investigated by the Williamsport Bureau of Police.
A three-week New Choices/New Options career-development workshop will be offered from April 17 to May 5 at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro. The New Choices/New Options program is offered at no cost to single parents, displaced homemakers, teen parents, single pregnant women and individuals exploring careers that are nontraditional for their gender.

More than 100 employers have registered for Spring 2006 Career Expo at Pennsylvania College of Technology a major networking event for students seeking full-time positions or cooperative-education opportunities. This semester's Career Expo will be held from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Field House on Penn College's main campus.
