Locally owned restaurants brought their wares to Penn College on Tuesday afternoon, tempting students and faculty/staff with "Tastes of Williamsport" from their kitchens. Gathered outside the Susquehanna Room, the eateries distributed menus and low-priced samples to an estimated 225-300 customers. The first-ever event was sponsored by Community Assistants, Student Activities and Food Services.

This past weekend, a dozen School of Hospitality students from Penn College prepared and served food with ingredients found at the Williamsport Growers Market, held downtown on Saturdays through October.
