Bloodmobile collects 227 pints A total of 227 pints of blood were collected by the American Red Cross during Penn College's first two-day blood drive of the fall semester. "Another great job by our students," noted Carl L. Shaner, College Health Services director.

Malcolm Kane Freshman goalkeeper Malcolm Kane, of Glenside, was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 1.  In the team’s first game of the season, Kane recorded 10 saves on his way to a 3-1 win over New York's Alfred State.  He becomes the first selection for the award on the year.
