A married couple who are both alumni and employees of Pennsylvania College of Technology recently created a scholarship benefiting students from Clinton County. The Ron and Tina Miller Scholarship will benefit Clinton County residents who are enrolled full time in a bachelor-degree major at Penn College. The scholarship also focuses on financial need.

The fifth annual Greater Lycoming Out of the Darkness Walk for suicide prevention will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, in Montoursville's Indian Park. The walk will be a 5K (3.1 miles) and the proceeds raised by walkers will go toward American Foundation for Suicide Prevention research and education programs.
