A nursing student at Pennsylvania College of Technology is among just more than 100 from around the nation selected for the Mayo Clinic’s Summer III Nursing Externship. Stephanie M. Snyder, of Williamsport, began her externship at the Mayo Clinic campus in Rochester, Minn., on June 3 with an intensive, two-week orientation.

Pennsylvania College of Technology recently appointed a director for the Robert and Maureen Dunham Children’s Learning Center, an early childhood education facility for the children of the college’s students and employees. Barbara J. Albert, who has been employed by Penn College since 1994, began her new duties July 1.

The Pennsylvania College of Technology Athletics Department has named Adam W. Matter as head coach of the men’s soccer team. “Adam is another great addition to our staff,” said Scott E. Kennell, director of athletics.  “I have every confidence that he will continue Penn College’s strong soccer tradition.” Adam W.

Carol A. Lugg has been named director of the Office of Transfer Initiatives at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Previously, Lugg was coordinator of matriculation and retention in the School of Natural Resources Management at Penn College. She has worked in higher education for more than 15 years, holding positions in student affairs, academic affairs and athletics.
