Thomas E. Vargo Sr., whose years at Williamsport Area Community College (predecessor to Penn College) included membership on the health and physical education faculty, died Thursday, Aug. 13. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 100 Walnut St., Montoursville.
