Students in the Advanced Patisserie Operations class presented their first bake sale of the Fall 2011 semester Friday morning, a menu of "International Delights" that appropriately satisfied the senses. Freshman Corey Teeple (Lake Ariel) was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 18. Teeple shot a 74 on a par 72 to place first at the Penn State Mont Alto Invitational at Penn National Golf Course and help the Penn College golf team to the top spot. This is Teeple's first USCAA honor of the year and of his career.
