The connections between Little League Baseball® and Pennsylvania College of Technology are decades' old, from construction students' work on the original complex in the 1950s to this month's catered meals for players in the 75th annual LLB World Series.

An appropriately festive atmosphere pervaded campus on Thursday, as anticipation mounted for that night's premiere of the Penn College episode of "The College Tour." Leading up to the initial showing in the Klump Academic Center Auditorium (and its streaming debut on Amazon Prime shortly thereafter) were a variety of games and other activities from one end of campus to the other.

A Penn College graduate is included on AviationPros.com's list of 40 aircraft maintenance professionals under age 40, characterized as "some of the best, brightest and hardest-working young people of the industry." Patrick J. Reed, a flight technician with Equus Capital, earned an associate degree in aviation technology from the college in 2003 and holds two master technician certificates.

The campus community will get an advance look at the Penn College episode of "The College Tour" – a half-hour installment of the series' fifth season, debuting soon on Amazon Prime – when it premieres at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Klump Academic Center Auditorium. A pair of construction management graduates, impressively carrying campus credibility into their professional lives, returned Monday to talk with students. Wayne R.
