“Connect 2023” is the largest annual career-related event offered to Schreyer Honors Scholars, giving them the opportunity to formulate career objectives, think about new steps for achieving their goals, and network and learn from Schreyer Scholar alumni.

Kelley, an associate member for the Scholar Alumni Society Board at Penn State, also participated in a Schreyer for Women brunch preceding the networking event. She was elected to become a full board member on July 1.

Kelley earned her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Penn State, where she was a Schreyer Honors College Scholar and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She holds a doctorate and Master of Science in developmental psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Her research focused on the socioemotional development of toddlers. After spending nearly 20 years teaching psychology at Lycoming College, she joined the Penn College administration in 2019.
