“Army ROTC has given me numerous opportunities in life, such as traveling across the country to attend the college I wanted to, meeting lifelong friends and helping me develop myself into a better leader," said Cadet Grayson M. Tanner, a construction management student from St. Matthews, South Carolina. "On behalf of the Bald Eagle Battalion, I’d like to wish you all safe and happy holidays.”

The battalion comprises Penn College, Lock Haven (where it is headquartered) and Mansfield universities, and Lycoming College.

Even as the cadets look ahead to the new year, they look back on a number of 2022 accomplishments that are reflected in this retrospective photo gallery.

Cadet Mackenzie L. Collins leads Cadets Charlie N. Delisanti and Ethan Miller through a land navigation course, effectively finding all five points. Collins, an aviation maintenance technology student from Pitman, N.J., demonstrated exceptional leadership by selflessly mentoring and teaching freshman cadets so they are successful in the course during the spring semester. Delisanti, of Fairport, N.Y., is pursuing a Penn College degree in welding & fabrication engineering technology; Miller is a student at Lock Haven University.
