Penn College Teams Idle Until New Year

In its only game of the week, and last of the semester, the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team lost at home on Saturday against Valley Forge College, 65-50.

Gwendolyn Lavelle, of Pocono Summit, led Penn College with 18 points and Jane Herman, of Greencastle, added 14 points as the Wildcats fell to 0-7 overall.

Penn College winter sports teams now are idle until January when the men’s basketball team travels to Alvernia University on Jan. 5, the women’s basketball team is at Gallaudet University on Jan. 7 and the wrestling team travels to the Waynesburg University Tournament, also on Jan. 7.
