Phlebotomy Short Course Offered at College’s Wellsboro Campus

Is a rewarding career in health care in your future? Penn College at Wellsboro is offering a short course in phlebotomy beginning in April.

The six-week, part-time program combines classroom theory and clinical experience to help prepare you to become a phlebotomy technician. Students attend two evening classes per week at the Wellsboro High School Administration building beginning April 18 and ending May 25. One week of clinical will be scheduled in June.



Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to take the National Healthcareer Association phlebotomy certification exam. The $1,290 fee includes a textbook and the cost of the certification exam. Financial aid is not available.
