Coordinator of Employer/Industry Relations Named

Danielle M. Liddic has been appointed as coordinator of employer/industry relations at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Liddic, who had been employed as recruiting manager in Penn State's College of Engineering, began her duties at Penn College on March 3.

Danielle M. LiddicShe worked at Penn State since 2012, providing employers with recruiting options and strategies to meet their hiring needs for intern, co-op and full-time engineers. She facilitated employer requests to build collaborations with university groups and partners to strengthen relationships and maximize student employment outcomes.

Prior to her work at Penn State, Liddic was employed at Penn College – both in Career Services and as an adjunct faculty member teaching First Year Experience. Previously, she was employed by the Central Intermediate Unit 10, where she coordinated and implemented career exploration/life skills workshops. She has provided instruction and facilitated discussion on career topics and has helped students prepare for successful entrance into the workforce by assisting them with job-search techniques, interviewing skills and career-documentation review.

Liddic is working toward her master’s degree in workforce education and development from Penn State. She attained the Global Career Development Facilitator designation from the Center for Credentialing and Education in 2011 and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Penn State in 2003.
