Noncredit Computer Courses to Be Offered at Penn College

Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering four basic, noncredit computer classes starting this month.



Creating Greeting Cards Using Publisher (9 a.m. to noon, Aug. 23 or Nov. 21) introduces Microsoft Publisher to those new to the computer. Topics include using Publisher to create greeting cards, invitations and calendars.

Computer Camp for Adults 55+ (9 a.m. to noon, Sept. 4 and 11; or 9 a.m. to noon, Oct. 29 and 31) is a fun course that introduces the computer for enjoyment purposes. Topics include games, email, the Internet, Facebook and basic word-processing for letter-writing.

Beginner’s Guide to Computers and Microsoft Office (9 a.m. to noon, Oct. 15 and 17) is designed for new computer users to create basic files in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
