Wildcats Represented in PSUAC Winter All-Conference Awards

Ten Pennsylvania College of Technology student-athletes earned spots onto Penn State University Athletic Conference winter all-conference teams.



In women’s basketball, senior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) and freshman Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) made the cut, as did sophomore Scott Fenton (Dickson City) in men’s basketball.  Junior Tyler Myers (Centre Hall), sophomores Austin Clark (Elysburg) and Logan Gresock (Wadsworth, Ohio) and freshmen Ryan Hart (Wyalusing), Daniel Frankenfield (Dushore), Cesar Gonzalez (Woodbridge, Va.) and Alex Muller (Sparta, N.J.) took home spots in wrestling.

Both men’s and women’s basketball all-conference teams are voted on by the coaches of the PSUAC.  Jamie Steer was named to the first team and women's Newcomer of the Year.  She finished the year second in scoring in the conference with 19.7 points per game. Kierstin Steer was named an honorable mention having scored 285 points this year. Fenton also earned honorable-mention status leading the Wildcats with 308 points.

The all-conference wrestling team is determined by placement at the PSUAC/USCAA invitational.  Hart and Myers won the 133 and 157 brackets, respectively, earning first-team status.  At 165, Clark was named to the second team, as was Gresock at 174.  Taking home honorable mentions were Gonzalez at 141, Frankenfield at 174 and Muller at 184.
