The college's Wildcat mascot goes "green," opting for a reusable takeout container from the Keystone Dining Room.Noelle B. Bloom, Dining Services assistant director II, registers Ashley C. Under a program first announced for students at the Fall Fiesta in late August – and now expanded to include employees – both dining units offer reusable, eco-friendly containers for takeout orders. Members of the campus community can register in the Dining Services office (LEC, Room A137); the program is free for students and costs $5 for faculty/staff. How does it work? Upon registration, you will be given a green token to present to the server (KDR) or cashier (CC Commons) when ordering a carryout meal. After enjoying your meal, return the container to the dining unit and receive another token to be used the next time you want takeout from the KDR or CC Commons. Note: All containers must be returned after each meal to be cleaned and sanitized. More information on Dining Services' "green" initiatives can be found on the department's portal page.
