Classmates Offered Solace Following Student's Death

It is with great sadness that the administration announces the death of student Mark J. Goss, a 20-year-old sophomore in the electronics and computer engineering technology major, from Wall, N.J. His body was discovered in his off-campus apartment overnight. The cause of death is under investigation, according to the Lycoming County coroner. Counseling services are available upon request for any students, faculty or staff. Please contact Counseling Services at 570-327-4765 for any needed support and assistance during this time. College President Davie Jane Gilmour issued the following statement Thursday morning: "We are deeply saddened by Mark's death and we offer our condolences to his family and friends. There are no words that fully express the grief that follows the death of one so young. We urge Mark's friends to reach out for support during this difficult time."
