Simon Earns PSUAC Honorable Mention

Joe Simon, taking a shot against Penn State Hazleton in December Joe Simon, a junior guard-forward on the Penn College men's basketball team, has been awarded Penn State University Athletic Conference Honorable Mention honors. Simon, a business management student from Renovo, scored 382 points during the Wildcats' 18-12 season that included a sixth-place finish in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association national tournament. For his career, Simon has scored 1,067 points. Earlier, it was announced that Leroy Joiner, a freshman guard from Williamsport, and Craig Flint, a senior guard from Port Allegany, were named to the 2009 PSUAC All-Conference Team.
