ESC faculty and administration join Bartlett Tree Experts employees in a living tribute to Virginia Tech shooting victims Plaque commemorates donation An international leader in residential and commercial tree care this week planted a sourwood at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center in honor of the April 16, 2007, shootings at Virginia Tech. Like VT, Penn College is among 28 institutions that participates in the Bartlett Tree Foundation, the educational scholarship arm of the Stamford, Conn.-based F.A. Bartlett Tree Expert Co. Each of those colleges and universities is receiving a tree from Bartlett, which delivered Penn College's living memorial in conjunction with this week's Career Fair and advisory committee meetings in the School of Natural Resources Management. Pictured on either side of the tree, from left, are Dennis Fink and Dennis P. Skinner, assistant professors of horticulture; Carl J. Bower Jr., instructor of horticulture; Brad Evans, a 1989 forestry alumnus of Penn College and representative of Bartlett's York office; Mike Taylor, from the company's Chambersburg office; and Mary A.
