ITS Warns of Increase in Reported Phishing E-Mails

Information Technology Services is aware of an increase in fraudulent e-mails making it through Penn College's spam filter. These e-mails ask for credit card numbers, network usernames and passwords, birthdates, and other personal information that enable individuals to gain access to financial accounts, Web sites, files, etc. Employees and students are reminded that the college will never ask for sensitive information in an e-mail.
