The victory did not come without a cost, however, as starting goalie Ryan Swartz (Muhlenberg) suffered a season-ending injury.Women's Soccer The Lady Wildcats beat Luzerne in their last stop before the PCAA playoffs, getting goals from Marilyn Caldwell (R.J. Reynolds, N.C.) and Stephanie Forsythe (Souderton). Goalie Kim Carbaugh (Northern Lebanon) and the Penn College defense recorded a shutout. Going into its PCAA semifinal match against Penn State Abington, Penn College coach Dan Hibbs said scoring would be the key if his team was to win. The Wildcats, however, managed only three shots on goal in a 1-0 loss that ended their season.
