Penn College Career Expos Offer Students Opportunities to Meet Prospective Employers

Pennsylvania College of Technology students and alumni will be able to meet with recruiters from nearly 100 prospective employers over two days at Career Expos scheduled for Tuesday, March 14, and Thursday, March 16.

The March 14 event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Earth Science Center, 12 miles south of the main campus on Route 15 near Allenwood. The staging area will be in the new addition to the Heavy Construction-Diesel Center.

The March 16 event, "Career Expo 2000," will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Field House, located at the southwest corner of the main campus.

Students and alumni of The Pennsylvania State University and its Commonwealth Campuses also are welcome to attend the expos. The main campus expo is being coordinated by Counseling and Career Services at Penn College.

The Earth Science Center expo is being coordinated by the School of Natural Resources Management at Penn College.

The main campus expo on March 16 will feature up to 85 employers. Many of the employer representatives are alumni of Penn College. Last year, more than 650 students and 75 companies participated.
