Plastics Students Awarded National Scholarships

Three students enrolled in Pennsylvania College of Technology's plastics programming have received scholarships through the national Plastics Pioneers Association , a society of industry leaders. Brad Reeser, of Williamsport, received $1,500; Desiree Nichols, of Hughesville, was awarded $1,000, and Jesse Hofer, of Ulster Park, N.Y., was the recipient of $500. The students are among only 20 students from schools across the nation to be awarded the monetary honors. Reeser and Nichols are enrolled in the bachelor of science degree major, plastics and polymer engineering technology. Hofer is a student in the associate degree major, plastics and polymer technology. The Plastics Pioneers Association was founded in 1942 as a society dedicated to fostering friendship among long-standing members of the plastics industry.
