Made by Hand: An Exhibition of Tomorrow Makers
2026 marks the 20th anniversary of The Gallery at Penn College, located in The Madigan Library.
To commemorate this significant milestone, The Gallery is proud to present an exhibition that highlights the creativity and innovative spirit of our campus community. This special exhibition will feature a diverse range of recent work in all media, showcasing the talents of Penn College students, alumni, faculty, staff and retirees. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a variety of artistic expressions, unique perspectives, and creative journeys. We invite you to join us in celebrating two decades of art at The Gallery at Penn College. Current students, alumni, faculty, staff and retirees of Pennsylvania College of Technology or its predecessor institutions are invited to enter this non-juried exhibition. Deadline is November 25, 2025.

Eligibility
- This non-juried exhibition is open to all current students, alumni, faculty, staff and retirees of Pennsylvania College of Technology and all alumni, and retired faculty and staff of Williamsport Area Community College and Williamsport Technical Institute.
- Submissions must be original work: handmade by the applicant based on their original idea; not made from a kit.
- Original work completed in the last three years (2023, 2024, 2025)
- Artists may submit up to 2 works. We will make every effort to include both pieces, as space allows.
- Original 2 and 3-dimensional art in any medium may be submitted including but not limited to: Painting, Works on Paper, Drawing, Sculpture, Printmaking, Fiber, Ceramic, Photography, Digital Art, Video Art, Mixed Media, Wood, Glass, Metal, crafts, installations.
- Multimedia: the gallery has two monitors for digital output. Video entries: send link to video in comments on entry form.
- Use of AI tools must be disclosed; include the following information with medium if all or part of your submission is AI generated: description of the prompt, AI tool, date created, site name.
- Size limits:
-2D/Wall-mounted work not to exceed 84 inches in height or 60 inches in width
-3D/Sculpture not to exceed 84” h x 36” w x 36” d - All work must remain on exhibit until the end of the exhibit
- Any objects containing varnish or polyurethane must be cured for a minimum of six weeks prior to delivery (delivery deadline is November 25, 2025)
- No food, drink, or hazardous materials can be a part of any artwork; all work must abide by the values of Pennsylvania College of Technology.
- Presentation: All work must be installation-ready. 2-D work must be framed under plexiglass or glass (with exception of works on canvas) and wired with the necessary hanging device attached. Unframed works should be accompanied by appropriate hanging equipment and installation instructions. Students: a limited number of frames are available on a first-come, first served basis.
- The Gallery reserves the right to return work that is not of acceptable quality, differs significantly from the image submitted, is not original, is not installation ready, or is deemed unstable.
Delivery and Shipping
Work will be accepted beginning October 23 and must be delivered by November 25, 2025 at 5 p.m.
Work received after November 25 will not be included in the exhibition.

Shipping:
Artists are responsible for delivery and pickup of all artwork and any associated shipping costs.
We prefer Fed-Ex or UPS. Include a return shipping label with your box.
Art should be sent in sturdy, reusable containers for safe shipping.
Note: the shipping address is not the gallery address.
