What is a Digital Badge?
A badge is a digital representation of a learning outcome, experience, or competency that can be verified in real-time. Digital badges can be used in email signatures, digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn and Facebook. The badge contains verified data that describes your qualifications and the process required to earn them.

We have partnered with Credly to translate the learning outcomes you’ve demonstrated into a badge that is issued and managed through the college's digital badging platform. You will still receive a printable certificate that is issued to you from the Learning Management System.
Representing your skills as a badge gives you a way to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted, and can be easily verified in real-time. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what you had to do to earn your credential and what you’re now capable of.
Credly is the end-to-end solution for issuing and managing digital credentials. Credly works with credible organizations to provide digital credentials to individuals, worldwide.
You will receive an email notification from Credly (admin@credly.com) with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account.
You can easily configure your privacy settings in Credly. You’re in complete control of the information about yourself that is made public.
You can share your badge directly from Credly to LinkedIn, X, Facebook, email, embedded in a website, or in your email signature.

Credly was designed to allow you to easily and efficiently manage and share your professional achievements. It all starts with accepting your badge.

Look for an email
To get started, follow the link in the email you received telling you about the credential. Most likely it came from admin@credly.com.

Create an account
You'll be asked to create an account and confirm your email.

Accept the badge
After you create the account and log in, accept the badge!

It is through sharing that you see the power of the network. This is a way to tell others about your skills and abilities!
