"National Poster Retrospecticus" Art Gallery Exhibit

The National Poster Retrospecticus (The NPR) is an internationally traveling poster show featuring hand-printed posters made by prominent designers around the world. The NPR in The Gallery at Penn College features a comprehensive and eclectic mix of posters and artists. The collection has shown in venues like The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Lego Headquarters and at events like SXSW and Adobe MAX. The NPR's mission is to celebrate posters, the made-by-hand aesthetic, and help spread that enthusiasm around the world. The show also aims to facilitate a dialogue based around printmaking and poster design.

The registration for this event is separate from the Homecoming and Parent & Family Weekend registration to better coordinate seating arrangements for inductees and their guests.

Live Music featuring Whosah

Join this Indie Pop Group (Spencer, Dallas, Dave, Mack, and Nate) for a relaxing yet interactive night on the Campus Center Patio. Located in Minneapolis, Whosah began in November of 2013. Their music includes originals and covers. They love making friends and making music.

Picnic with President Gilmour

Join Penn College president Davie Jane Gilmour for an all-you-care-to-eat picnic before the soccer games.

$8 Guests may pay on site at the dining unit. (Penn College students may use dining plans)

Alumni Golf Outing at White Deer

Register your foursome ($75/golfer) for a chance to win a $100 White Deer Golf Course Pro Shop gift card, two tickets to a PSU football game, and other awesome prizes. Cost includes greens fees; lunch catered by Le Jeune Chef; and prizes for first, second, and last place teams and for closest to the pin and longest drive.

Historic Tours of Williamsport

Spend part of your day touring Williamsport’s historic neighborhoods and the downtown area. Sign up for these tours at check-in. Trolleys and buses are accessible to persons in wheelchairs.

Women's and Men's Soccer with Food Trucks & Family Activities

Cheer on our Wildcats soccer team as they take on Wilson College.

There will be food trucks and family activities. Local Food Trucks will be located in the parking lot near the Athletic field. The Food Trucks joining us are: Real Taste Food Truck, Too Hot or Not Too Hot, Grilled Cheese Cafe and Catering, Eat and Run Catering serving Sunset Ice Cream, and Brasil on Wheels.

Art Gallery Reception with graphic design and printing alumni

Graduates of the Penn College Advertising Art & Graphic Design programs are invited to an informal reception in The Gallery. Alumni will have a chance to meet with current students from the Penn College Student AIGA chapter (graphic design club), faculty, and other alumni. During the reception, The Gallery will be hosting The National Poster Retrospecticus (The NPR), an internationally traveling poster show featuring hand-printed posters made by prominent designers from around the world. Oktoberfest and Reunions

Reunite with fellow classmates and enjoy some great-tasting brews.

Those celebrating reunions during Oktoberfest will be former Resident Assistants, Athletes, Greek Life members, and printing alumni. Come back and reminisce with friends.

For alumni and their guests. Must be 21 or older to attend.

Potato and beer soup, caramelized onion pretzel roll with caraway salt, German potato pancakes, sausage and sauerkraut fritters, mini Reuben, sauerkraut-spätzle stir fry, beer-braised bratwurst, knockwurst with sautéed onions and peppers served with rolls, black forest cake, autumn apple strudel, and more all paired with a refreshing seasonal beverage!

All participants will receive 3 drink tickets and a 2017 commemorative alumni pub glass while supplies last.
