Students in Peter Kruppenbacher's Woodworking: Art, Craft & Design course recently completed projects that attractively display what they learned during the spring semester. Each student in the class was tasked with creating a jewelry box with dovetail joinery, finishing the top with decorative veneer work/marquetry. In addition to mentorship from Kruppenbacher, an assistant professor of building construction technology, assistance was provided by Kat A. Valentine, manager of makerspace operations. CCM140 is an art elective, open to students in all Penn College majors.
