Leaking faucets and toilets waste many gallons of treated potable water. Sometimes, we put off those repairs and days turn into months and quarts turns into gallons and gallons. In a rain-saturated year like this one, we forget the value of our drinking water. Much expense and energy goes into collecting, storing, pumping, treating and delivering water to our homes and workplaces. If leaks are noticed at work, alert the appropriate authority. Step up and repair those annoying leaks at home.
