As an alumnus/alumna of Penn College, Williamsport Area Community College, or Williamsport Technical Institute, you have the ability to share your life experiences and knowledge with our students in a variety of ways.

Virtual Alumni in the Classroom

Current students enjoy hearing about the successes of alumni and the potential to network with someone in their field.

Open House

School is back in session and so are our Open Houses! These events continue to be our largest recruitment tool, and you, our loyal alumni, can contribute to their success.

Our fall dates are:

  • Saturday, September 10
  • Friday, September 23
  • Sunday, October 9
  • Friday, October 28
  • Saturday, November 5
  • Friday, November 18

There are several ways to volunteer with both inside and outdoor options including:

  • Greeter: Welcome guests to check-in with a smile and a few simple instructions. You may also show visitors to seats in the auditorium and point them in the right direction when they leave. (inside)
  • Directional Support: You will be located in busy traffic areas to assist students and guests to their next location. (inside or outdoors)
  • Information Tent: Answer general questions and provide directions to activities around campus. Tent located on the Mall. (outdoors)

Please let Alumni Relations know what date you are interested in joining us. We hope to see you soon!

Welcome Weekend

Assist incoming students as they begin their educational journey at Penn College.

Alumni Task Force

Task Force members collaborate with staff from the alumni relations office to provide feedback and brainstorm ideas to enhance the alumni experience.

Advisory Committee Member

Advisory committees act as recommending bodies to the faculty and administration, and consist of in-field professionals who serve as partners in the development of curriculum. Your curricular and equipment advice, as well as your industry connections and internship opportunities, are invaluable to our students and to the growth of our institution.

If you are interested, contact the Alumni Relations Office. We will forward your name to the respective faculty member or dean who makes the final committee selections.
