Quality Through Assessment

The first in a series of brown bag lunches focused on useful assessment. During this session, a flexible report template is presented as a useful tool for accreditation reports and program reviews. Participants learn how to access the template from the myPCT Portal, determine how to best use each section of the template, modify the sections based on specific needs, and write reports that emphasize how goal-driven assessment is used for improvement of student learning.

Institutional Surveys as Planning & Evaluating Tools

ESS, CSS, NSSE, Alumni, Graduate, Leaver, Non-matriculant – what do these surveys tell us? How might we use them? How do we gain more detailed information needed to make data-driven decisions? This session, presented by the Office of Institutional Research and Planning, provides the answers to these questions and any others you may have.

Math Placement Testing

Math placement testing has undergone a major change that affects students entering in January 2007. This session aims to provide an update on the change, allowing both an understanding of what students in all majors will experience and a recognition of how the test results affect their movement through the course sequence.
