"One for the Books: The Madigan Library"
The new facility is designed to assist students who wish to develop and enhance their information literacy through the discovery and use of critical and evaluative learning materials. It features advanced computer, communication, and information technologies in order to serve an expanding and diverse student, community, and industry constituent population.
A library is integral to the mission of education and central to the learning process for all students, who must learn how to recognize when information is needed and how to locate, evaluate, and use information effectively. The ability to seek information and gain knowledge empowers students to continue learning throughout their lives.
