Penn College at Wellsboro serves Northern Tier business and industry training needs, as well as personal and professional development. The campus, instituted by the College in 1983, is located in scenic North Central Pennsylvania in the Wellsboro Area.

Customized courses are available to business and industry for training on requested topics such as: healthcare, supervisory training, conflict resolution & prevention, team building, diversity in the workplace, project management, successful meetings, and Microsoft® computer classes. Longer-term training is available in medical assisting, practical nursing, emergency medical services, and apprenticeships.

Practical nursing information sessions set for Northern Tier

Penn College at Wellsboro’s Practical Nursing Program will host two open houses with information sessions: Thursday, Feb. 29, and Thursday, March 21. The 6:30 p.m. events will be held at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Wellsboro campus, 22 Walnut St. The sessions will also be connected to the Potter County Education Council through Zoom.

Workforce Development VP among state's 'Labor Power 100'

Penn College's vice president for workforce development is included in "The 2023 Labor Power 100," profiled in a recent issue of City & State Pennsylvania magazine. Shannon M. Munro – who manages training and employment partnerships with the Plastics Innovation & Resource Center, Apprenticeship Center, Clean Energy Center and at Penn College at Wellsboro – is No. 91 on the list.
